Director of Repair Management

Werner Aero, a supplier of aircraft spare parts, engines and management services to commercial airlines worldwide, is seeking a Repair Management Director to oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s component repair services.  If you have the passion for aviation and the curiosity to learn more while travelling the world, with a rapidly growing company with strong team emphasis, we have the job for you! Candidate must have OEM or MRO or Airline background.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Repair Department
• Direct and coach a small team of customer support persons
• Evaluate vendors for existing and future business
• Review and approve technical aspects of repair work
• Negotiate repair costs with vendors
• Manage compliance of repair contracts
• Manage and report on the metrics of the repair management programs, including turnaround time, quality, claims and warranties, customer satisfaction.
• Travel as needed to meet with vendors or attend trade shows
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to management, as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Candidate must have experience with the management of aircraft maintenance programs or MRO engineering and management background.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Self-motivated, strong attention to details and results driven.
• Team player.

Experienced Sales Manager

We are looking for an aviation experienced sales manager to head one of our current product lines. The company specializes in logistic solutions and the supply of aircraft spare parts and engines to airlines in the narrow body and regional jets aircraft. The person must be energetic and highly motivated, with proven industry experience. The ideal background would be in airline engineering and procurement, OEM or MRO experience, or component sales. The position is in our Mahwah, NJ office.

Duties:
Include but not limited to:
• Develop sales strategy and objectives
• Manage sales pipeline on a customer-by-customer basis
• Oversee responses to customer inquires
• Negotiate sales price to close sales as direct by management
• Visit customers and prospects to build relationships and profiles
• Maintain regular contact with customers and potential partners while developing new business
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
• Prepare sales reports for management
• Travel up to 25%

Desired Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in business/aviation or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of aircraft material sales experience necessary; purchasing and component repair experience recommended
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
• Ability to network across the company effectively and maintain good working relationships with all departments and employees
• Self-motivated, strong planning and organizational skills
• Proven negotiation skills a plus
• Must be able to understand customers’ requirements and be able to price inventory accordingly.

Werner Aero has an immediate need for a sales administrator to work in their Mahwah, NJ office on a full-time basis.   We are seeking a master multitasker and communicator to provide dynamic support across many functions in our sales and service office to ensure that inward and outward orders are shipped in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal sales administrator is an energetic, quick learning professional who is very detail oriented.  The position provides an opportunity to grow within the company.

  • Maintaining open sales journal; keeping current dates of all open sales
  • Tracking and processing all sales orders
  • Communicating with customers regarding sales orders
  • Managing purchase orders with vendors

Werner Aero has an immediate need for an administrative assistant to work in their Mahwah, NJ office on a full-time basis.   We are seeking a master multitasker and communicator eager to embrace a varied workload that includes project work, vital meeting preparation and support, as well as calendaring and scheduling/travel coordination.

Duties:
Include but not limited to:

  • Daily responsibilities include calendar management and overseeing special projects
  • Facilitate meetings and events (planning, logistics, take minutes)
  • Arrange and confirm local, domestic and international travel for the CEO and other team members and ensuring effective use of time and resources
  • Ensure the daily operation of the office, including coordination and supervision of cleaning and maintenance service
  • Order general office supplies, stationery, and office equipment
  • Use a high degree of judgment and discretion in the handling and maintenance of materials of a confidential and/or sensitive nature

Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Warehouse

Werner Aero, a global leader in the supply of aircraft engines, spare parts and various consulting services to aviation industry, seeks a warehouse shipping and receiving clerk for its headquarters in Mahwah, NJ.

DESCRIPTION
· Monitors, verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments.
· Determines best shipment method unless customer specifies shipping method.
· Generates Bills of Lading and shipping products using FedEx and UPS PC software.
· Maintains inventory of shipping material and supplies.
· Performs other duties, including cycle counting, or special projects as required or assigned.

EXPERIENCE
· Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
· Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to take initiative and take responsibility/accountability.
· Ability to work without supervision and within established procedures and guidelines.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks, sometimes under pressured deadlines.
· Basic computer skills helpful; familiarity with inventory and shipping software a plus.
· Knowledge and understanding of a variety of transportation and shipping methods.
· Must be able to maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
