Vice President of Sales

Werner Aero Services is experiencing significant growth and is looking for an individual with proven management experience with an airline or major MRO in the aviation industry, to join us as a Vice President of Sales in our Mahwah, NJ office. The position will have direct oversight over multiple product lines, and reports directly to the President.

Include but not limited to:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for our product lines
• Plan, direct, coach, and organize the sales and marketing teams
• Managing sales directors, including hiring and training new personnel
• Set sales goals and drive team to succeed
• Daily communication with airline customers
• Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist regional business development managers in promoting sales, and ability to travel as needed
• Manage department P&L

Desired Skills:
• Proven leadership and management within an airline or major MRO, with at least 5 years in sales management with confirmed results
• Proven success in building and leading a sales team in a small to midsize company
• Skilled in hiring, training and growing new sales talent
• Demonstrated expertise in developing relationships, partnerships and building strategic alliances with customers and vendors
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented, with prior financial responsibility
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. We offer a compensation package that includes a retirement plan, company-paid health benefits and vacation time.
